Norton Island Residency

  I am leaving Wednesday morning for the wee willy-waggs of Maine where I will be in residence at Norton Island for a week and a half.  Myself and twenty other artists and writers will be enjoying the surf and scenery and working hard.  I will keep creating my Hundred Days pieces and I will post them for you when I return.

  I was at odds with this image, and wasn't really getting it to work.  Then I turned it upside-down...et voila!

  Phew!  I fell off the wagon there for a bit.  And strangely enough it was on Night Fifty - halfway through the project and a special day of celebration.  It was, however, a very demanding week last week.  So perhaps I needed a rest over the weekend.  Early this morning I found myself awake and creating "make-up" paintings in my studio.  Here they are - and I'm back on track.
